SELECTION INTERVIEW – NEW INTAKE 2026 University College Batangala
Important Instructions for Interview and Admission
You have been selected for the 2026 New Intake Selection Interview, which will be held on 06th or 08th October 2026 at the University College of Batangala, according to the course category mentioned in your interview notification.
If you are selected for the programme, you are required to complete your registration on the same day. Please follow the instructions below carefully.

Documents Required for Registration
Please bring the following documents in both original and photocopy form:

Duly completed Registration Form
Download Registration Form (PDF) - Birth Certificate
- National Identity Card / Passport / Driving Licence
- G.C.E. (O/L) Examination Result Sheet / Certificate
- G.C.E. (A/L) Examination Result Sheet / Certificate or NVQ Certificate
- Any certificates supporting your extracurricular activities, such as sports, short courses, and other relevant activities.
- School Leaving Certificate
Important – O/L and A/L Certificates
For items 4 and 5, please submit the original O/L and A/L certificates issued by the Department of Examinations. If the originals are not yet available, you may temporarily submit either a results verification letter from your school or a certified true copy of the downloaded result sheet. A copy of the original certificate must be submitted as soon as it is received.
Payment Details
If selected, you will need to pay a total of Rs. 6,000/- only.
Registration Fee: Rs. 3,000/-
Refundable Library Fee: Rs. 3,000/-
Total: Rs. 6,000/-
The payment date and method will be informed later. Please keep the total amount of Rs. 6,000/- ready. You will have sufficient time to make the payment once the payment date is announced.
Other Important Details
- After registering at the University College, you will not be eligible for admission to any full-time course at a university established under the University Grants Commission (UGC), or any other higher education institution, during the period of your study.
- Students are not permitted to leave the institution before completing the course.
- Students are eligible to apply for the ‘Nipunatha Sisu Saviya Bursary Scheme’, subject to the applicable conditions.
- Hostel facilities are not available at the University College.
